ITINERARY
08:30 – Guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for a journey to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, a traditional craft village renowned for more than a century of incense-making heritage. Local artisans handcraft thousands of colorful incense sticks every day, which are distributed across Vietnam for use in family altars and Buddhist temples.
10:00 – Arrive at Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. Take a walking tour through the village and visit local households specializing in traditional incense production. Meet skilled artisans as they dye and arrange vibrant bundles of incense, creating one of the most iconic visual scenes in northern Vietnam. Learn about the traditional incense-making process and gain insight into the daily lives and craftsmanship of the local community. You will also have the opportunity to purchase locally made souvenirs and handicrafts.
11:00 – Move to Duong Lam Ancient Village, often referred to as a living museum of the Vietnamese countryside and considered one of the most authentic ancient villages in the Red River Delta.
12:30 – Arrive at Duong Lam Ancient Village and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
13:45 – 16:00 – Explore the village’s centuries-old houses, some dating back more than 400 years, and discover the unique architecture and rural lifestyle of northern Vietnam. Learn about the country’s wet rice farming culture and meet local families who have preserved their traditions for generations.

Visit Mong Phu Temple, the spiritual heart of the village dedicated to one of Vietnam’s Four Immortals — the Mountain God. Continue to the Ngo Quyen Mausoleum, honoring the famous Vietnamese king and national hero, while enjoying the peaceful countryside scenery and rice fields surrounding the village.
The journey continues to Mia Pagoda, a beautiful 15th-century pagoda renowned for its remarkable collection of 287 statues depicting Buddhas, Buddhist monks, and the Eight Vajra Deities.
16:00 – 17:30 – Return to Hanoi and transfer back to your hotel. End of the Duong Lam Ancient Village & Quang Phu Cau Incense Village tour.
