Begin in Hanoi and travel through Northwest Vietnam taking in its breathtaking mountain landscapes and colorful dress of the local hill tribes. This itinerary takes you on a tour through enchanting, gaping valleys and towering mountains to remote hill tribe villages. Visit cascading waterfalls and typical mountain markets. Finish the trip relaxing on a cruise sailing on Halong Bay with thousands of limestone islands jutting out of the blue water.

Detailed program:
Day 06: Sapa – Bac Ha
Popular hiking route, visiting Lao Chai, Ta Van villages, transfer to Bac Ha
8:00 AM: Meet tour guide and enjoy a 5km scenic transfer to the west of town. We will start a full day of trekking from Y Linh Ho village. Follow the path downhill, interact with the friendly H’mong ladies and children who live in houses nestled in the valley. Enjoy a bit of relaxation at the cable-bridge with the harmony and beauty of the surrounding nature. If you are sportive and adventurous, follow the uphill trek along the buffalo path with breathtaking views and less tourists. For those looking for an easy trek, embark on a leisurely stroll along the Muong Hoa River.

Direct to Lao Chai village. Turn on a small path crossing the rice field to a small hamlet. Have a special visit to grandma who is the only craftsman left in the community, traditionally using beeswax for decoration to make the unique Hmong’s indigo clothing. It is also a great chance to learn about their daily life and culture.
Continue to Ta Van village, the charming land of the Dzay people, well located on the hill with amazing views of river, rice terraces and Hoang Lien Son Mountain range. As you leisurely walk, meet villagers who will kindly invite you to visit their homes.

Have lunch at a local restaurant then transfer back to Bac Ha via Thanh Kim, Thanh Phu, enjoy stunning views of mountain, river and hydropower lakes along the way. Located at an altitude of 1000m, Bac Ha is home to several ethnic groups such as the colorful Hmong, Phu La and Tay. Bac Ha region is well known for its weekly, colorful markets surrounded by wild and beautiful scenery. The markets are not only for the exchange of goods but also for the cultural exchange of the ethnic groups for centuries.

Exploring Bac Ha region, typical mountain market
7:00 AM: Start to explore Bac Ha, it is possible to visit a colorful, ethnic market ( Bac Ha market is on Sunday. Otherwise we can visit Coc Ly market on Tuesday, Can Cau market on Saturday instead). Enjoy the striking atmosphere with so many goods such as vegetables, poultry, horses and buffaloes while capturing many minority groups in their best colorful clothing of the week. After visiting the market, take a walk through some idyllic ethnic villages, which is a typical Bac Ha landscape, interspersed with corn fields, cassava hills and clay houses, plum gardens adorned by H’Mong women and their colorful dresses will accompany you throughout the trip.

Come back to town for lunch before transferring to Hanoi. Check in hotel around 6:00 PM
Day 08: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Lan Ha Bay | Meals: |
Transfer to Lan Ha bay, admiring the wonderful seascape, swimming in the less touched area of ConVit, Ao Ech
9:00 AM: Pick up at your hotel (in the Hanoi Old Quarter). Enjoy a two and a half hour drive from Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay on the national highway No5B. Your journey will pass through a series of villages and rice fields in the Red River Delta. Have a stop for a drink and restroom. Continue driving to the harbor around noon, warmly welcome at cruise reception.

12:30: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruises. Welcome fresh drinks, cold towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay – A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays

15:30: We will visit the Dark and Bright Cave – famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boats and swimming – which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of LanHa Bay. Afterwards, visitors immerse in the emerald green water of LanHa Bay with exciting swimming activities or enjoy a mini pool with a jacuzzi on Peony Cruise.

17:30: Return to Peony Cruise. Enjoy a sunset party on Lan Ha Bay. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay.
19:30: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the restaurant on Peony Cruise.
21:00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the top deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, watch famous films and relax on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch the bay from the balcony.

Day 09: Hai Phong – Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi | Meals: |
Exploring Trung Trang cave, leisurely cruising, getting back Hanoi, departure
6:30-7:30: Breakfast is served at Peony Cruise Cruise restaurant.
8:00: Cruise will arrive at the Frog Pond area, where you can kayak and relax in the four-season mini pool on Lan Ha Bay – A silk ribbon made from green mountains, blue seas and diverse fauna and flora.

9:30: Checking out of the room. Then the lunch in the restaurant is ready for you, pay the extra fee (if any) at the reception while traveling to the port. Kindly needed to pay for the costs in charge of the front desk (if any) while traveling to the port.
11:15 – 11:30: Disembark and move back to the port.
11h30 – 11h45: You are at Tuan Chau International Marina Station
Welcome by driver at the harbor then enjoy 2 and a half hour travel back to Hanoi on the new highway No5B crossing the Red River Delta and villages. Drop off at your hotel (in the Hanoi Old Quarter).
Private driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby (Hanoi Old Quarter) for about 45 minutes to Noi Bai airport (international or domestic hall according to your request). Thanks for the visit to our city.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment for the tour is a fundamental part of the tour’s income and contributes to the overall cost of equipment, running costs, staffing, administration, etc. As the Company will have incurred the majority of its costs before the tour starts, we need to impose cancellation charges to cover these costs.
Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, we will impose cancellation charges as follows:
- 30 days or more prior to departure – loss of deposit
- 15-29 days before departure – 30% of tour cost*
- 7-14 days before departure – 50% of tour cost*
- 6 or fewer days before departure – 80% of tour cost*
* or deposit if greater.
Tailor-made tours may be subject to alternative cancellation terms, which will be communicated to applicable Clients at the time of booking.
All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking form. Please send an email to your contact at the Company, with a copy to info@advantour.com.
Once the tour has started, no refund for any unused portion or part of the tour or services to be provided will be given. If you want to make any changes to the tour, or depart the tour early, such alteration or departure will be entirely at your own expense and liability. You will also need to communicate in writing to the tour operator your reason for leaving the tour.

PASSPORT
Every consumer is required to have a current passport and visa. You are accountable for acquiring a valid Vietnam visa. At the LPC Travel office upon arrival, all passports and visas must be produced. Before entering any location where we conduct tours, a photocopy will be created in our office and given to the local police for registration.
DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT
While making a reservation, you will need to pay a deposit or deposits. You will be told by your advisor how much that will cost. Depending on the specifics of the trip and the up-front expenses LPC Travel may incur, deposit amounts can vary significantly. The needed deposit sum will be confirmed after you indicate your desire to book your trip.
Credit cards and bank transfers are accepted forms of payment. LPC Travel will not impose any bank or credit card fees, however it might be wise for you to confirm, before making the payment, whether your bank and/or credit card provider will assess any foreign transaction fees or other fees. LPC Travel disclaims responsibility for any additional fees imposed by your bank or credit card company.
RESPONSIBILITY
It is taken very seriously to guarantee that suppliers uphold high standards. Nevertheless, since we do not run restaurants, hotels, or home stays, we are unable to be held accountable for any issues arising from the booking unless they were specifically caused by our carelessness or the fault of one of our employees.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
