Detailed program:

Day 01: HANOI

Today you’ll land at Hanoi Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by our driver at Noi Bai International airport and will transfer to Hanoi downtown. Then travel to the hotel, Check into your hotel.

The rest of time is your free time to explore Hanoi, the capital city with a long rich history of the Old Quarter, streets, Hoan Kiem Lake, etc as your own experience. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 02: HANOI – HALONG

09h00: Our tour guide and Limousine bus pick you up from a hotel in Hanoi (Around the Old quarter area). Say goodbye to the bustling city and follow the new highway to depart for Tuan Chau Island. Our bus will stop over for a rest on the way.

12h15: We will be in Tuan Chau harbor. Then welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The boat will take you on a 5 hour cruise route while enjoying Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on the boat.

13h45: Arrive in the Bo Hon archipelago area where you will visit Sung Sot Cave. It’s one of the largest and most beautiful ones in Halong Bay to see a lot of stalagmites and different shapes.

Then we go kayaking or on a bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Highly recommended to use Kayak. Because this is the most interesting activity in Halong Bay.

Then our boat will take you to Titov Island with a sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with an excellent backdrop of the Bay. It’s a great ideal to climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

16h30: Return to the boat after visit Titov island for Tea break 

18h00: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant

Evening: free time to explore Halong. You can choose between staying at Tuan Chau Island to enjoy special shows at amusement parks as well as visiting this beautiful island. Or take you to the other side of Bai Chay bridge to see the beautiful bridge at night, explore Halong night market with delicious dishes, especially only in Halong.

Day 03: HALONG – HANOI – SAPA

06h30: Wake up early, enjoy sunrise over the bay as well as enjoy the morning sound on the bay as your own experience and feeling. Have a morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air at a restaurant. 

08h30: Visiting a fishing village by rustic bamboo rowing boat.. Interact and see daily life of local fishermen and their lifestyle on the bay. This is the chance for kayak through bay with touch closer limestone islands and islets

10h00: Back the cruise and check out. While the cruise sail back to the harbor you will have lunch on the cruise.

12h30: Return to Ha Noi

17h00: Arrived at Ha Noi. Dinner at the local restaurant

Overnight train to Sapa

Day 04: SAPA

Arrive at Lao Cai station in the morning, our driver will be waiting for you at the station’s exit. From Lao Cai, our driver will then escort you in our comfortable mini-bus to Sapa. Throughout this 60 minute scenic drive up through the mountains, be sure to look out the window at the captivating views of emerald green valleys, majestic mountains shrouded in cloud and intricate rice paddy fields.

08h00: You will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Here we will discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo… We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields.

After Lao Chai we walked to Ta Van village of Giay people. It is a small group of ethnic people with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. 

Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages, about 8 km from Sapa town, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living, is also the beginning of the valley which is called Muong Hoa. From a high point of the main road, a great view of the whole village opens wide to offer the marvelous panorama views, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terraced fields and streams, discover and visit some of Black H’mong families. You will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact with them, learn about their culture and customs…

11h30: Back to town for lunch

14h00: We will walk up to Ham Rong Mountain with elevator steps.

Ham Rong Mountain, which is situated in the center of Sapa town, is a remarkable tourist attraction. Shaped like a dragon’s head in the clouds, Ham Rong Mountain is nearly 2000 meters high with green trees and colorful flowers almost all year round. Most tourists are visiting Sapa to do the exciting climb up to the mountain. Recently, this tourist site has been upgraded, in which there will be a traditional art performance show for tourists when visiting Ham Rong.

The path leading up to Ham Rong Mountain consists of many stone steps and a winding trail higher up will help to see small streams lazily run through bushy foliages. About midway, visitors will find themselves in an orchid – garden with more than 400 species of colorful blooms. Standing on the highest point of Ham Rong Mountain, tourists will have a breathtaking view over the romantic Sapa town.

17h00: Our car and tour guide will take you back to Sapa Town. Have dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa
